In the images above, I block my opponent's pak sao and palm by slapping the palm on the outside. This leaves my solar plexus open, and my opponent pivots in and nails me with a cross. The cross creates an opening for a solid hook to the jaw. There are numerous follow up options after the hook, if your opponent is not already down.
