The Eye Strike   In the above series you can clearly see the "reverse triangle" footwork being used with the eye strike. This step quickly gets you out of the way and sets up additional techniques if necessary. Notice that the eye strike is done with a "back hand" motion. The eye strike can also be used against punching attacks as seen here vs. a jab, as long as it is done with proper triangular footwork, a backhand motion, and a lowered head.
