The above video demonstrates the application of the knife tapping drill in Pekiti Tirsia. Many people who practice Filipino Martial Arts know this drill, but few apply it effectively. The trick is to reverse the progression. Rather than entering with the "primary hand" the video demonstrates entering with the "third hand" and using the primary hand as a back up to pass and secure the weapon bearing limb AFTER stunning the attacker.
